What a nice wine from De Pont Cellars in Oregon. This winery makes some really great, easy drinking Pinot Noir. Oregon produces some great Pinot Noir, especially in the Dundee Hills region. Pinot Noir is a great alternative to Cab for a summer BBQ and goes great with salmon or other oily fish.

I bought this wine during my trip to De Ponte Cellars winery and was surprised on how well it tasted after survivng a 6 hr. plane ride.  Upon opening it was intensely fragrant. It's a nice Pinot with low tannins and medium bodied. Nice mouth feel and short finish. A great Pinot if you can find below $20.

De Ponte Cellars  $24.00 (winery price)

Country: USA,Oregon
