Justin Cabernet Sauvignon a great Cabernet from Paso Robles. Juicy fruitbomb.

Again, I went for another Cabernet! I just can't get enough of it especially as the weather turns cooler.

Fruit lovers unite. The Justin Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 is another great wine produced in the Paso Robles area of California. Upon opening I smelled ripe fruit, cherry and bark. In the glass it had an amazing hugh of deep purple. On the palate it was ripe cherry with a nice medium finish mingled with soft tannins. A definite fruitbomb

Winery Notes:

Our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is dark red with a crimson hue. Aromas of raspberry, bing cherry, mushroom, and an assortment of spice, vanilla and leather make up the nose. A soft, fruit forward entry is accented by a touch of vanilla. The mid palate balances acidity and structure to produce a velvety moth feel found commonly in JUSTIN wines. The finish contains soft, yet prevalent tannins with hints of caramel, cedar and toasted oak.

I actually went into the store to get the 2005, which had great reviews, but in came out with the 2006. No more 2005!

Anyway I enjoyed this Cab especially for under $20 it was a great find. If you like fruit you'll enjoy this one.+

Country: California, Paso Robles

Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon
